Literature Text

Her gemstones are humble,
small chips of crystal and silver
and I stumble,
Upon the sight of her innocent
beauty,
I am the beholder and I behold
grace as her tiny words tumble,
Small is her form
but her cherub heart beats strong
like the quakes of a boulder
and not a pebble,
Her hair is lava
and her eyes are the grass,
In them I see reflections
Of my hideous form like glass,
I am but sand and withered fruit,
With broken teeth ad lanky limbs,
but she...
She is exactly what she seems,
My little child queen of queens...
By no means am I a good poet. This came to me a little bit ago though. Take from it what you will. I'd be curious to know what this makes anyone think of.

When I see this, I see a father/grandfather seeing their daughter/granddaughter  like a little queen, and see how old they really are by looking at her youth.
