Literature Text

It was love at first sight,
She stood there upon a jutting rock,
As naked as a skeleton
With the smile of a serpent
and smooth thighs
that begged to be touched,
Salty sea spray from
the rolling waves
wet her ruby red skin
and shells of the sea
decorated her black hair,
When she sung it was like fire
warming the cold night,
Causing me to jump into
the unpredictable water
as I yearned to tame her,
I didn't get far however,
In that sea that was as black
as the star encrusted night,
For her song had suddenly been broken
by an arrow that pierced her throat,
Releasing me from her spell
so that I could return to the boat,
My friends helped me back
onto the deck and I thanked
the man who had saved my life,
Then as we set course for the moon,
I remembered that adventure
was my wife...

-Saint Alexander the Explorer's Account of a Red Sea Siren
I'm sleepy and felt like writing this. I'm not sure if it's a story or a poem. I'm also not sure if it is good or bad lol . Good night people. Let me know if I made any sleep-induced spelling mistakes.
